Terrific transport

Today we had planned to go to the forest for the day but the weather was forecast to be heavy dark cloud all day. We decided to bus it down to town quay and get the ferry across to Hythe where you get a tiny and very old train down the pier to the town centre. Steph and Ruby joined us so it was loads of fun, very cold! Fish and chips in a park overlooking the water, babycinos in Costa and a mooch around the shops before getting back on the train and ferry.
Home to make burgers, Matilda cake and dinner before getting the kids to bed and rushing off to connect group BBQ. I ate two raw pieces of chicken and have spent the whole night feeling worried and queasy, praying I'm not ill!
