Releasing our precious bird

Our vet and I were out before sparrow fart this morning to release our precious Kerguelen petrel. As soon as we stopped it got excited in the plastic bin. It could smell the salt air. It was soooo good to see it go safely on its way. Makes it all worth while.


Extras taken this morning. Still quite dark so had ISO bumped up to 6000!!!
