sunshine at last

We have had a few days freezing rain and winds. Finally this afternoon the sun is out, the air is thin and I suspect a frost is on its way tonight. There are a few late hangers on, on my beautiful plane tree. We plan on heading out very early in the morning to release our petrel. I had better find my woolly hat etc
