KAWS

Our theme for the WidWed challenge this week is shapes, and I couldn't think of any bigger shapes than these sculptures by KAWS that are currently being exhibited at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park.  KAWS was born Brian Donnelly in New Jersey and he graduated from the School of Visual Arts in New York in 1996.   After graduation he briefly worked for Disney, and has also done work in Paris, London, Berlin and Tokyo.

I first saw these sculptures when I visited the park on a mini blipmeet earlier this year;  luckily I don't live too far away and so I'm able to pop back there whenever the mood takes me  -   to date the place has never disappointed, and I usually find something interesting to blip.
