Tranquility

We left home early on today as I had to drive Jack to a Doctor's appointment (only routine thankfully) afterwards we went into Elland to collect a prescription but we were back home again in no time.  This meant there was the opportunity for me to pop out for an hour or so with the camera.

The day was perfect first thing, and tranquil was how I felt when I looked across the small lake at Holywell Green this morning;  I could hear bird song and you could feel ever such a gentle breeze.    All good things come to an end of course and a good hour later the sun had disappeared and rain was threatening,  but nevertheless for a short time everything felt right and it seemed a good start to the first day of summer.
