Madam
Don't be fooled by the bottom lip - she's been an only child all day and frankly she couldn't have been happier. This morning we all cycled J over to a friends for play and a sleepover. I had a couple of work calls to make but with free reign over the remote control there were no complaints from little miss. The main sign of her happiness at the situation was a three hour outing in the heat to complete such exciting jobs as picking up holiday money without a single whine. Probably helped by the purchase of these sunglasses. I offered to take a picture so she could see them and she asked if she had to smile. I said no so here she is.
As for some reason I had thought she might be sad at J being away (ha ha) I had said she could choose a treat for this evening. So she closed the curtains, turned the sitting room into a cosy cinema, made us tickets and we settled down with sushi and Judy Moody's Not A Bummer Summer.
I'm sure she's missing him really!
I am. Though it's been a lot of fun with this one.
