Thank you for all the lovely comments on yesterday's big mountain day, glad so many people enjoyed it.
A long day of catching up on work and personal tasks that I've been avoiding over the bank holiday weekend (OK, some for a little bit longer).
When my head started to swim I ran some errands and then had a wander onto the fell, just for a few minutes. It's been gloriously warm, and sat against a hot rock I practised some mindfulness. To be fair it was pretty easy; the stunning blue sky, the smell of the buttercup meadows ( everywhere this year), the amazing texture of the rock (& it's lovely warmth) too. All set off by the oh so loud song of this tiny wren.
Whilst I'm forever drawn to the high places, it's always worth remembering that this connection can be made anywhere.
