Green.....

Today has been very green; that threatening rain green. No sign of the sun all day here, but a good drying wind for the washing. 

I've been indoors all day, working on armchair protectors for a friend. The William Morris fabric has been quite tricky to match up pattern-wise, but they're finished at last. I've been waking at night thinking of how long I've taken to do the job! It's been great to have the whole day  to do them. 

These heads of corn were looking good on our walk yesterday. They just seem right for today's weather.
