Spring Fling

I've been around on my bike today to a few of the Spring Fling open studios. Highlights of the day were the chat I had about exhibition spaces with Bea Last and a lovely relaxed visit to the studio of local painter Patti Lean. At Patti's, visitors were asked to contribute to a huge oil painting in the garden. That was great fun! Here you can see what it looked like after 3 days of visitor input..

The prolonged spell of warm sunny weather is making this area feel like another country. People are spending more time outdoors and I've noticed they look a lot happier. 

The constantly blue sky reminds me of California, so let's have a bit of this
