The Toy Bucket

Our Labradoodle pup, Maisie, has a cast iron stomach and the strongest teeth I have ever come across. We suspect the cast iron stomach is the Labrador in her breeding. She has destroyed every toy basket she has owned so far. Mind you, they have been made of plastic so she has had fun sharpening her teeth on them. But we have found a solution. Yesterday I bought a galvanized iron bucket for the princely sum of $13. It is nice and shiny and just the right size for her diminishing number of intact toys. She is a bit dubious about it at the moment as she can see her face reflected in the inside surface as she goes to retrieve a toy. We planted a Gingernut, a favourite treat, in the bucket last night in order to familiarize her with this new possession.
