Morris Taking Refuge

We have had a lot of rain over the last few days. In fact when I checked out some historic local weather records at lunchtime I saw that we have less than 10 mm to go before we exceed the record for the wettest May since 1993! It is very soggy underfoot. Molly spent much of last night on our bed... most unusual of her. She came indoors sopping wet then spent ages drying out and grooming herself. I must put an extra easily washable cover on our bed at night to prevent the duvet cover becoming dirtied with pussy cat paw prints!
Anyway Morris settled himself on a special cuddly blanket on the bed for most of today. I am going to come back as a cat.
