Shopping For Herbs

A fun day today.  My friend Sarah (Rubicon's owner) and I drove to Westport, CT to Gilbertie's Herb Gardens to stock up on goodies for this year's garden.  Sarah's yard is mostly shade, so she and I share a vegetable and herb garden here at my place each season. 

We came home with:  Marjoram, Lemon Grass, Nasturtiums, Fennel, Rosemary, Sorrel, Italian Parsley, Basil (green and purple), Mojito Mint  ... and a whole lot of other stuff I forget right now!

On the puppy front, Mabel and I returned to the vet this morning for Lyme Disease and Leptospirosis shots.  I was very proud of her.  After last week's debacle of snarling and snapping, necessitating the use of a muzzle, this week she was very well behaved with nary a flash of the incisors, and no need for muzzling!  A good girl.
