Rhododendron

Another long day of puppy training, spent mostly outside in the incredibly warm sunshine.  It was supposed to get up to a high of 90 F (32 C) this afternoon, and although I don't have an outdoor thermometer, I wouldn't be surprised if we hit the mark.  Once again, the yard was full of men finishing up the pruning and putting down mulch in the flower beds, so plenty for Mabel to bark her fool head off at, and plenty to try my patience as I made vain efforts to convince her to be quiet!  I think she finally wore herself out, because right now, she's curled up behind me in the chair as I type.  Blessed silence reigns!
