Silver iodide X 1,000,000!

We’re in Nottingham now, staying with Andy and Moni once again. We visited the Nottingham Contemporary gallery to see these pieces amongst others. It was fascinating to move around and watch the reflections change, not least the reflection of ourselves!
What are they? They are two grains of silver iodide, taken from an 1875 photograph, scanned in an electron microscope and then reproduced 1,000,000 times larger than life!
The artist is Simon Starling.
The extra shows a reflection with multiple copies of us! JanHar has also blipped a reflection.
