Beautiful day today....scorching hot.......31 degrees in the car this afternoon.

Quick trip to the dentist.....I broke a tooth on Sunday....it's coming out next Tuesday.

The Boss dragged me to Ikea this afternoon....via the sports shop to pick up the new shirts for the angling coaches....will blip mine another day.......they were all pleased to get them tonight....especially Vanessa. I think it might be the first time she's had an "official shirt".

Several hours in Ikea....but we picked up some chairs and lamps for the conservatory. The electrician is coming 2.00 p.m. Thursday, hopefully the builder will have been by then and it will all be finished....there's a bottle of champers on ice. I'll blip the finished article....it's only fair seeing as I have dragged you all through the trials and tribulations of it and the bathroom.

Coaching was odd tonight.....very few of the regulars turned up.....must all be away on holiday....but we had 13 new arrivals.....and at last the water has warmed up....and they all caught like fury....even the most cack-handed of them....never seen so many decent skimmers being hauled out.

Tomorrow is the first real day of my holiday.......I have the house to myself.....a leisurely breakfast in my new chair in the conservatory....a couple of peaceful hours fishing either side of lunch time.......and then maybe a little siesta in the heat of the day.............watch somebody/thing bugger it up for me!

The blip comes courtesy of the Daughter....there were 5 frogs in the pond this evening....cooling down....and these two agreed to pose instead of diving for cover.
