An obstacle on the path

We did a little side jaunt to Silver Falls State Park on our way to Eugene, and hiked to a couple of water falls. At one point we came upon  this giant Douglas fir that had fallen right across the path. It was almost as wide as my 162cm (5'4")height..It's a bit unsettling to think that a tree that size could fall down at any moment...
The extras are of the Middle North Falls (106 ft), where the trail goes behind the falls, and some tiny wildflowers along the trail.
