Curves

My new island bed seen from the pergola. The perennial plants are growing, so now it is time to plant drifts of cosmos, nicotiana and verbena through them!
A friend from New Zealand arrived this morning. She came down on the train straight from Heathrow, having landed at about 6 am. It is lovely to see her again ( we were friends when we both lived in Western Australia).
And she managed to stay awake until about 9.30 pm!!
