Howick Hall

Howick Hall was the home of Earl Grey where Earl Grey Tea originated. The Silverwood Garden was at its best boasting wonderful rhododendron and azaleas. These stunning candelabra primula grew in profusion under the shady canopy.
We enjoyed a guided tour of the extensive gardens with a friendly and knowledgeable volunteer gardener.
The gracious tea rooms look out onto the herbaceous border and of course serve Earl Grey tea as well as many delicious eats.
