Fun at Housesteads

We had a wonderful afternoon at Housesteads Fort on Hadrian's Wall.Lots of sunshine and space to run and play. The views in all directions are spectacular. Hard to imagine how 800 soldiers lived here in all weathers in such a very exposed position.
