Away again

Dr D is on holiday this week and last, but unable to leave the Brood on its own on account of it being final exam time at high school.

I got a text when I was in Rīga to ask if I was OK for an overnight escape to Innsbruck. Clearly being cooped up with the Brood for a week without a break was taking its toll.

She's Austrian on her mum's side, she studied in Innsbruck briefly and I've never been there, so it was a good choice. 2 hours in the car, with a following wind.

She found a great hotel - Goldener Adler (Golden Eagle). 500 hundred years old but delightfully modernised inside.

I liked the welcome gift waiting in the room, so it got Blipped. Albert Camus has stayed there us well. Much more "me" than Mozart.
