First fire

I've succumbed to the inevitable.  After a more than stunning early autumn, and being a mere 4 weeks away from mid-winter, the damp and cool weather of the past few days has been accepted.  Winter is upon us.  Not that our 'cool weather' is anything like the snowy conditions they have down south, but cooler and more wintry nevertheless.  After spending a significant portion of our summer in the northern hemisphere winter, it feels to me like winter has arrived too quickly.  

The fire is lovely though!
