Apple Blossom

Quite a day. Had an email late yesterday afternoon offering an appointment with my knee consultant today at 11:10. This was to have some fluid removed and an injection of Duralane which it is hoped will help cushion the joint and improve the function. So no time to contemplate it was up and off and back for lunch.

I have been told to give it 48hours to settle down and then gradually build up the exercise. So my blip walk was rather curtailed to a wander around the block. This was taken in the gardens of the Quaker Meeting House a lovely peaceful space close to the town centre.

Came back to find Richard, who had taken Jet for a run, had taken a tumble. Should have known when there was blood on the door way that something was up! He had been caught out by running in very bright conditions to entering the darker woodland. Needless to say I had to wash and dress his arm and hand which had suffered the worst of the fall. Not a good time to find some of the First Aid kit was out of date. Fortunately quickly sorted with a quick trip down the street.

Some days are rather more eventful than others!
