Wild Garlic
After a busy morning of household chores Richard disappeared to his Pilates class. The sun was shining and Jet was hinting he required a decent walk - punctuated by salmon leaps as soon as I put on shoes and make for the door.
Decided that I had not walked to the big field in a while. This is the site of the Pickering flood works and I was interested to see how nature was recovering from the excavation works.
So glad I did. The fencing had been removed and already the wild flowers are returning and making a great attempt at disguising the grasscrete (concrete with holes). As I turned back for home the bluebells in the wood were being replaced with wild garlic. Isn't nature delightful?
