Break in the Weather

It's been raining and overcast daily....flooding in some parts. A wee break found 3 of us bounding out of the house and studios down to the river to check out the changes. The cat stayed home.
The Bitterroot is a braided river...i.e. it splits in many places; wanders around and joins back somewhere downstream. Here is one braid of the West Fork. The other part is somewhere to the south making an island.
