A Grad-ye-a-shun

Where does the time go? After 13 years of school, Merrick graduated from high school today. NO...WAIT!!! That's my blip for 13 years from now!

Merrick graduated from pre-school tonight. This was after a 5 p.m. t-ball game. So, here he is...from a baseball chap, to a graduation cap.

The special guest? The Cat in the Hat.

How about that? The cat in the hat. The cat in the hat came to chew the fat, and to hang in the pre-school habitat. He really is all that, and he spoke to the crowd with a rat-a-tat-tat.

Right off the bat, the cat in the hat...had a chat...and he took aim at...the children.

"So very late was the Cat in the Hat! Why? Because I had a flat!"

Right after starting, the Cat in the hat LOST his hat. What did he say? "DRAT!"

"Most of you kids were good", said the Cat in the Hat, "but that one little girl was a brat!"

To finish the evening, a snack was enjoyed by The Cat in the Hat. He had cookies and milk...and of course it was non-fat.

The Cat in the Hat, was played by our Pastor Matt. (Actually, he was played with some skill...by our Pastor Bill.)

Merrick...done with pre-school, ready to start kindergarten in the fall. Like I said in the opening line...where does the time go?
