Mono-Monday: Numbers

After seeing Hobbs' series of watches, I tried to photograph one last week and found it was much harder than I anticipated and tossed the images in the virtual trash bin.  I thought I would give it another go today with a different watch for Mono Monday for the theme numbers, in this case the Roman kind. ;-)  I am still obsessed with the lensbaby and trying to get some shots that satisfy me, so I used it again today for this shot.  The verdict is still out. 

This watch was given to me many years ago by my husband.  It is a combination of polished gold and matte stainless steel so it fits in with any jewelry.  The band is really lovely, very smooth with the feel of small polished stones.  I am a very tactile person, and constantly have my hands on things to feel them.  While this is a very pretty watch, it was also the delightful feel of it that appealed to me.
