The Fab 6
Braved the elements today to take a trip on the "Ferry 'cross the Mersey" with #1D and #1GS. The Beatles statues are greater than lifesize, in case people think we're extremely short as a family....
As you can see, the weather was quite forbidding, but the journey was pleasant and Charlie was fascinated by the ropes and anchor and drawbridge. Had lunch in the ferry terminal at Seacombe, and C and his Mum enjoyed the slide in the kids' play area before the return trip. I noticed how cluttered with modern geometric shapes the iconic Liverpool skyline has become. Both styles are attractive in their own right, but I'm not sure I like them all slapped together like that.
