Our little gymnast

We slept soundly again :-)

Had a quick walk for the morning papers, and went the long way home, just as we were heading back it started to tip it down, luckily we had a golf brolly with us ;-)

An early lunch, tuna melt on seeded brown bread, before driving to pick up our daughter, as we were going to watch Emily in her Gymnastics Club competition.

There were 20/30 little girls all in similar leotards, doing their routines to chosen music, a panel of three judges. The whole thing lasted 2.5 hours....a long time for some of the smaller ones. It was really entertaining, they all did so well.

Emily here came first with her partner in their section. Up onto the podium to receive their medals from the head judge, much to their delight :-)

Afterwards we dropped daughter off and had a catch up and a brew.....Emily went back with her Dad.

Then a quick dash home to watch the cup final........not a great game, hence I'm uploading this whilst watching it! Come on you Reds, get your finger out!!!!

Hubs in the kitchen doing dinner. It's quick sliced cold gammon, egg and chips this evening, smells like it might be almost ready :-)

Hope you're all having a great weekend.......pity about the torrential showers! Mind you, the newly planted hanging baskets and troughs are loving it, so that's something I suppose ;-)
