One out of three

Super organised Mountain Festival in Keswick today. Very well attended, despite the morning showers. A great backdrop for the event.

Setting off very early this morning, #2 daughter successfully completed the Triathlon and in a very good time, although she said swimming in Derwentwater was a little cold, a lot slimy and not at all pleasant.
 
I was going to post the picture, which is now in extras, of the three who took part in events. The picture shows the two guys hearing all about the Triathlon as they were ready to set off on a 70km Sportiv. However, they failed to complete their event - jet lag, a torrential downpour and a steep hill did for one; a puncture and a torrential downpour did for the other. They were both rescued eventually and we then went for a nice late lunch. The afternoon was sunny!! So the blip is the one success out of three. But well done to everyone who took part.
