Black Swans.
It was a nice warm Autumn day, so I visited Lake Liddell in the afternoon. To the right of today's blip is a power station and further to the right is a nature reserve, hence the black swans and ducks on the lake. The fun part was being surrounded by about a dozen white geese standing around inquisitively watching me take the shot. I have vivid memories of sailing a catamaran in a race on the lake which was shrouded in dense mist. I was suing on the trampoline steering with my feet while dangling my hand in the water. What I was totally unaware of was two Airforce FA18 jets approaching their target at a speed of in excess of 800km per hour. Because of their approach speed they were silent until the four jet engines were 30 metres above me. Using all their guidance technology the laser tagged the small dam wall took the shot/photo and moved on. Leaving me shaken but not stirred. Thanks for visiting today and have a great weekend.
