A strong deterrent!

At the beginning of spring last year I noticed a sparrow flying down from a tree in a neighbours yard. Day after day the sparrow would nibble the sage in a row of a number of herbs and plants, it only ever visited the pot of sage. I was impressed at the sparrows sophisticated pallet, of all the flowers and fruits in the garden the sparrow preferred the taste of sage. I mentioned to my wife that we needed something to scare the sparrow. The next day she placed the non aggressive looking bird in the pot, it is all of 5 cm long. My blip for today is our front line of defence against sparrow attack. Hope your day has a little space for you to relax, cheers Malcolm.
