Safe Above Cairo

Woke to the sad news of the missing Egyptair flight that was making its way to land in Cairo in the early hours of this morning as I've done, crossing at exactly the same spot into Egyptian airspace, so many times before.

At the time of writing no hypothesis for it going missing has been confirmed. The latest I read is of a possible struggle in the cockpit causing it to fall, changing course abruptly several times. Whatever the ghastly scenario that was played out, our thoughts are with the family, friends and colleagues of the lost gathering at the airports here and in Paris.
