BOTANICAL GARDENS

I went to the Gardens to play with my new lens today, rethinking i'd concentrate on flowers and the great collection of arid zone plants, which are great for patterns. BUT the wildlife was irresistible...a blue crane excited me. Very shy, foraging among the leaf litter. Then a mother wood-duck with 2 hatchlings. Finally a water dragon sunning himself on a rock.  Im particularly happy with this one. I think I'll keep the lens!
Maybe flowers next visit!
