Orchidy

On the way to an international orchid conservation conference it's always fun to check out duty free for new products which have orchids in them for some (marketing) reason or other. This one was charging several hundred pounds for longevity cream based on the premise that rubbing a plant with flowers that last a long time on your face will...cause your youth to also last a long time...? Or something.

Also interesting as all orchid species, even tiny amounts of extracts of them, need special permits for each time they're moved across an international border. How many high-end purchasers of this cream apply for the permits each time they take their 'longevity concentrate' stick on holiday with them?
