Hole in the wall

This is the hole in the wall at Bolton Abbey the start of a 5/6 mile walk along the river with my lovely friend Sheila. The views were superb, the countryside so verdant and the wild garlic and bluebells prolific. We walked up to the Strydd and back stopping for a much needed sit down and lunch after 2 hours.
Got home and the workmen have at last started digging up the grass in the back garden to put in drainage.
