Mono Monday :Wayside memorial

Another busy Monday. I cleaned the whole house top to bottom as I've visitors at the weekend and it was filthy, especially dust everywhere. Went swimming, I haven't been for a while and it was lovely. Decided to go to the tip with all the rubbish that's been waiting in the garage. Driving there I passed this memorial and have done many times and always wanted to photograph it. Luckily there was a place to park and I took a few shots. This was my favourite, the statue is quite unusual it's brown. The extra is the colour photo.
