"I want my mum!"

I've had a rather full day and it's not over yet! 

Went into the lounge late afternoon and discovered the starling family on their first outing to my garden (that I've seen). Probably because I put the mealworms out on Sunday. Mum and Dad were there with the whole brood, rather a lot of them. 

After a few minutes they all flew off ... except this one. Then it started calling out. It was obviously lost and feeling all alone, not knowing where to go. It wasn't long before Mum (or Dad) came back to get it. You need eyes in the back of your head with children! 

The bluetits are still busy with the feeding process.
