Greenwich Park

This was a return visit to Greenwich for me as I completed my final teaching practice in the East End at Sir John Cass. Whilst staying nearby we would cross the Thames using the Rotherhithe tunnel for some open space.

This is the first time I had returned since then! A charge of £9.50 gets you into stand of the Greenwich Meantime Line - it was free when I was last there. However the views back to the Maritime Museum and beyond to Canary Wharf was well worth the climb up to the Observatory. It was also the best day of the weekend and everyone was making the most of the sunshine.

Having had lunch with Stephen we then parted company to travel back home. A great weekend.
