Japanese Garden at Kew

Day two of our break saw us make the trek across London to Kew. We enjoyed the journey as well as the visit. 

Although the Temperate glasshouse was closed for renovation there were plenty of other areas to enjoy and far too much to take in on one visit. A good excuse to return. This isn't the best picture as the bright sunshine was reflecting off the light pavement and the dark wood of the gate meant I struggled to get the right balance. 

After returning we then had a bite to eat and then watched the theatre adaptation of Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time. A very modern production with an interesting set that worked really well.

A busy but very enjoyable day.
