Oystercatcher

Got out for a lovely calm row this morning for the first time in 2 weeks—-that’s how long it took for my rib whatever to heal, darn it, (tough to get old)   .. couldn't see anyone in the nearby Eagle’s nest but was happy this guy was on our beach.    Leaving those oysters alone.  There are lots of Canada geese and goslings around now(extra).   and the other extra is my studio from the kitchen window with a big turkey vulture perched on it…hummm. didn’t see anything dead nearby.  ….Maybe one mouse.

Also did some work in the “garden”  There are a few of 3 kinds of Iris that I totally ignore —note to self: get some more of those next year as the deer don’t bother them and they don’t need me.   Planted some lettuce seeds—-ha..I won’t make any bets that I ever see anything in our salad.  but I always try.  Also managed to clean just a few windows as a start.   Not bad.   But no playing in the studio...
