Yellow landscape on grey day

Grey mizzle.    Got the grey float all snuggled in to our dock, (should I ever get to row again! )  and took a walk to the top, carefully.    Just had fun combining some photos on the iPad....a bit otherworldly, but the color is real.  Scots broom season...  and lots of moss and lichens,. The old main bench used to look on this view of the Salish Sea in the Gulf Islands before the big pole was built in front of it.   Hard to explain...  and this is where we come to see big birds flying..... (but not these)
