First Strawbs..

G will have them for breakfast tomorrow!..

Busy day yesterday, a drive to the Black Isle to visit G's brother. And then I took Tanni with me to do the shopping, while G stayed.

Lots to do, and not enough time. I've been having a problem with my phone, the screen won't rotate. So back to Vodafone to try and solve the problem. Result is they're sending it back to check it over, and I'm phoneless until they sort it out. Not quite the result I was after, but it needs to be sorted out. Also needed to go to Screwfix, get chicken feed (was closed!), B&Q, Wickes, and also spent 10 minutes in HMV!

Was meant to do the groceries, but decided at 5-o-clock, it was time to go and pick up G. We did the groceries after in Dingwall, on the way back to Ullapool.

At 8-o-clock as we passed through Garve, we thought we'd be too late to get a bite to eat in Ullapool, so stopped off at the Altguish Inn by Glascarnoch dam. An OK meal of basic pub grub, gammon and scampi with chips (not on the same plate!).

Was 11 when we got home, and then had to unload the car, and put the shopping away. And have a pint.

Not up too early this morning, and sorted out Tanni's mince (we buy 800 g packs, and split them into 6 before freezing). Cooked breakfast, and then another phone call to do another plumbing job. Delivered some eggs, and when I got to P&G's, the job had been done! The wire that connects between the toilet flush handle, and siphon had come out, and their guest had sorted it out)..

Unloaded the trailer, bags of compost, and took them down to the tunnels, and harvested some greens for tea before taking Tanns to the beach.. And that's my last two days..

Oh, and had a call from G's brother. He has a trailer with a double axle. He used it when he moved up, and hasn't used it since. I said I'd be interested in it yesterday, and overnight, he's decided to give it to me.. It will be so handy, as I'll get more bags of feed and compost on a shopping trip.. Pick it up next time we're down..
