Proud mum

As ever Cookie is always keen to come into our house. Inside was the best place to be as it is still not French summer yet. The fire was lit again this evening.
First time down to the shops today and a variety of minor errands. good to be back in a Lidl after months of Hebridean enforced abstinence.
In the evening a couple of friends came around for an apero - an English woman married to a French man - and we caught up with much of the local gossip. Most importantly they told us that tomorrow evening was the hunters' dinner, where the hunters thank the local landowners for letting them hunt over the land. I am not quite sure how or if you could say no.....
