ROYAL TRIBUTE

The Royal Windsor Horse Show . . . followed by a night of celebrations for the Queen’s 90th Birthday . . . a very impressive event. Over 900 horses were involved during the night, alongside musicians and dancers from across the Commonwealth.  Mr H would have loved to join in. EXTRAS show Happy Birthday Ma’am and Foot Soldiers.
And another day of learning for me. I found out that wheelchairs take some driving . . .  I only nearly tipped L out once . . . honestly ! The attitude of other folk towards L in a wheelchair or on the mobility scooter was very polarised. The vast majority could not help enough and were very kind. Sadly there were others who could not wait to push and shove as if we did not exist.
Someone once said that everybody should spend a day of their lives in a wheelchair. I think I know why now.
