Hot wired!

Noticed a kereru sitting in my kowhai bush (eating the leaves!), managed a few photos before he decided I was a bit close so flew up and perched on the power pole, looking down at me as much as to say "you can't catch me"! So enjoy watching these birds and always feel lucky that there are so many living around us.

I have had a very productive day, managing to clean out cupboards and drawers, swapping over summer and winter clothes and filling a box for charity of those that seem to have "shrunk"!!! Heading off overseas in 7 weeks seems to have given me the spur to get onto these sort of jobs.
