Primula/Primrose

This lovely plant has been gracing our yard for more years than I can remember. I don't know the variety, but it faithfully appears every spring, right behind the rhubarb. It is usually the first to bloom, even beating dandelions! Alas, the flowering time is quite short, so we will miss it until it again shows its happy face when winter is over.
