The event that nearly never was.

Swannie was up in Gala this morning and saw that there was such a lot of Flying Scotsman related stuff still going on despite the fact that the much anticipated visit tomorrow had been called off yesterday. Then, at about three o'clock this afternoon, news came through that it was all back on again.

Apparently, some old steam train is coming to the station at the end of our street and there will be thousands of people there. I'm just going to hide all day, I think. Still, there's enough time for it to be called off again before it comes.
