Oresund Bridge
Today we are leaving Denmark however a slight slip up with the satnav route, we realised after about half an hour she was taking us further north for the crossing into Sweden, a quick turn around, we wanted to see The Bridge.
The Bridge: paid the Toll with a card but didn't catch the amount and think it's in the region of £25.00, we had been warned. First of all a short distance underground from the Copenhagen side before coming up onto the bridge with a stunning view of twinkling blue water, a train running beside us, a boat with red sails to the right and a plane about to fly over the bridge.
We are now in Sweden with a border control and passport check, a rarity for us. The day was one of covering miles and once away from a town the roads passed through forests with signs to look out for pigs and elks, we didn't see either. This evening we arrived at lake Vattern and camped near Grassen on a dedicated motorhome site for overnight stops, the cost was in the region of £16.00 a night. It's a large area with white lines to suit the size of vans, included facilities to top up with water and dump the unmentionables. Next to us is a large campsite with caravans and a few vans. A busy holiday place. The weather is changing with cloud and occasional showers.
