Desert mirage .

While taking a short break during a tour of the island of Sal , we observed this mirage , miles from anywhere " in the middle of nowhere ". A strange sight which even produced reflections of a couple of shrubs growing from the parched earth .( Sal only has about 2 days of rain a year ) .
