Resting up

The field trip wore us girls right out. Sugar slept in, and we quickly decided that she would stay home from school.  There had been a late start planned for the field trip kids, but I knew there really would be few at class. Sugar was feeling so very sore.  She worked muscles that she didn't even know existed. 

I ran to a nearby town for some work stuff, while Sugar stayed home.  She made this adorable felted squirrel.  Love it.  It made her pretty darn happy, too.  

In the late afternoon, we headed into town for her guitar lesson (only to find out is was cancelled due to sickness), and then several errands.  Then it was back home for dinner and an early bedtime.  We were both so very tired.
